A third generation photographer, I grew up in a home with beautiful, old black & white portraits lining our walls & filling our drawers. I think I've always loved faces, relationships & artistic storytelling because of it. After graduate school, I moved home, opened my portrait company and never looked back! when should i book my baby's MILESTONE session?
I can only accept a maximum of 5 children for Milestone Portraits at the studio each month (in addition to the other types of sessions that I shoot there.) Because of this, my availability is limited and I would encourage you to book your Milestone and/or Cake Smash Photoshoot as soon as possible. Most parents book their child's Milestone Sessions in advance for either 3/4, 6/7, 9/10 months and 1st Birthday. I also have a Grow with Me Collection that you can purchase which is 3,6,9,12 scheduled all at once! My shoot calendar fills up quickly. It is important to schedule as soon as possible to ensure my availability your baby's Milestone Portraits!
what does my baby need to wear for their milestone photos?
Most parents already have something in mind that they would like their children to wear for their Milestone Portrait Session. If you have no idea what you want your child to wear for this portrait session, you're in luck!
I have a client closet for babies with sitter sizing up to 18 months. We can discuss your ideas for this session and I can either help guide you in selecting wardrobe for your baby's Milestone Session OR you can borrow something from my client closet!
HOW LONG UNTIL WE SEE PROOFS?
Your Baby's Milestone Portrait Session Proofs will be delivered within 7 days of your Baby's Portrait Session. You can either schedule an in-person ordering appointment at the studio or I can deliver an online proof gallery if that's easier for your family!
when should we shoot our baby milestone portraits?
I recommend scheduling your Baby's Milestone Portrait Sessions at intervals of 3 months (when they start smiling at you!), 5-7 months (when they've discovered their feet), 7-10 months (when they're sitting up, crawling, chonky & smiley) and of course the 1st Birthday / Cake Smash Session!

Milestone Portraits in Charleston happen either at my Photography Studio (Holy City Babies) located in the Avondale neighborhood of Charleston at 1020 Savannah Hwy OR we can shoot them outdoors / on-location in Charleston!
