Maternity Sessions happen either at my Photography Studio (Holy City Babies) located in the Avondale neighborhood of Charleston at 1020 Savannah Hwy OR at outdoor locations around Charleston. The Palmetto Collection will allow us to shoot a Hybrid Session (studio + outdoor). The studio is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed for your Maternity Portrait Session.
where do we shoot?

The best time for Maternity Portraits is between 30-33 weeks. This is typically a sweet spot for expectant mothers as their baby bump has typically pop'd by then and they're usually feeling pretty good during this window -- not yet intolerably uncomfortable and this is usually before any water retention or swelling may occur!
when will we shoot?
Your Maternity Portrait Session Proofs will be delivered within 7 days of your Portrait Session. You can either schedule an in-person ordering appointment at the studio or I can deliver an online proof gallery if that feels more supportive!
HOW LONG UNTIL WE SEE PROOFS?
Booking your Maternity Portraits with Holy City Babies gives you Exclusive Access to our Extensive Maternity Client Closet which is filled with custom, handmade, couture, editorial Maternity Gowns, Robes, Tossing Fabrics, Body Suits and other Unique Wardrobe Pieces that you are welcome to borrow for your Portrait Session OR you can wear something of your own if you prefer!
what should i wear?
I can only accept a maximum of 5 expectant parents for Maternity Portraits each month. Most parents book their Maternity Portrait Session around 20 - 25 weeks and thus my shoot calendar fills up quickly. Its important to schedule as soon as possible to ensure my availability for your preferred date!
